Sustainable Spotlight: Non Plastic Beach

At Coral Eyewear, we want to shout about businesses doing things differently for the health of our environment.  Every month, we’re sharing some of the planet-positive work being carried out by other brands, teams, athletes and organisations. Catch up on the first post in our Sustainable Spotlight series where we spoke to the the Team Principal of FIA Formula E Team Mahindra Racing about the future of motorsport and electric cars.

Non Plastic Beach are here to help you eliminate single-use plastic one easy swap at a time, with tried and tested options to use in both the kitchen and bathroom.

The company was started by Gareth and Nicola Dean, an Anglo-Scottish couple who currently reside in Oxfordshire. Both trained divers, the couple were inspired to provide their plastic-free products for others after seeing plastic littering coastlines all over the world.

After becoming frustrated by the amount of plastic wrapping used to ship so-called eco-friendly items, they've made sure all of the Non Plastic Beach items come in plastic-free and recyclable packaging.

Non Plastic Beach are a member of the SAS 250 club, which supports the protection of British Coastlines with the help of charity Surfers Against Sewage. Their items are also reguarly used by British Formula E driver Alexander Sims, who recently launched a pair of limited-edition sunglasses with us.

At Coral Eyewear, we came across Non Plastic Beach through the use of their plastic-free soap bars in the office.

We want to work together to reduce plastic waste and to help you along the way you can get 15% off any plastic-free items using code CORAL at www.nonplasticbeach.com.
